Seascape 1

My new art project and one I was very excited to do. My first seascape! I used a photo reference and did this painting in 4 hours. This was very hard but I like how it turned out.

(October's dad here. So many people have shown interest in buying this piece October did that we decided to offer prints for $5.00 (+ shipping). I'm keeping the original because I'm the dad. ;o)

Abstract Portrait

9" x 12" pencil and ink on Pro-Art Drawing Paper.
This was my 3rd art project for school this year. I had to draw a portrait of a person expressing the feeling I had when school started. The feeling I had was excitement. I chose to draw myself with an excited face. The 2nd part of the project was to make 5 seperate patterns in the hair. The hardest part was making the patterns the same.

This was my first art project for school this year. I had to draw an object with contour lines and shading. The object I chose was my water bottle. It was hard to do the shading!
